Voice Out: Us and the Economy

“Voice Out: Us and the Economy was FLY: Malaysia’s first physical event since the pandemic. Starting off with a public speaking competition where participants each spoke about a Malaysian economic issue, the purpose of this session was to:
1) Provide a platform for youth participants to voice out on their personal perspectives & experiences
2) Deepen the participant’s own understanding of economic issues as they prepared for their speeches
3) Disseminate economic current issues to the public in a creative way via youth involvement and public speaking, as opposed to lecture-style talks

The event also consisted of a panel discussion with expert speakers such as Mr Suah (BNM) and Mr Qarrem (ISIS Malaysia), and a networking session with all invited VIPs. Through these 2 sessions, we aimed to give our youth audience an insightful but also uniquely interactive opportunity to engage with industry professionals in economics and finance.”
